This painting on steel features Zuko in a stance from the Dancing Dragon. Behind him is the emblem of the Fire Nation from Avatar: The Last Airbender and Avatar: the Legend of Korra.
In Avatar the Last Airbender, the Fire Nation is shown as the aggressive conquerors responsible for starting the Hundred Year War. Despite the fire nation being depicted as evil (especially its leader, the Fire Lord), the Fire Nation and its citizens are not inherently bad. During the time of the original animated series on Nickelodeon, there were only 4 Fire Nation citizens that were shown consistently fighting on the side of good: Zuko, Iroh, Jeong Jeong, and Piandao.
During the time of the Legend of Korra series, the Fire Nation was lead by an aged Fire Lord Zuko. Zuko and his grandson General Iroh, were both allies of Avatar Korra.
This Piece is part of the Neon Avatar Collection. All of our "Neon" paintings are painted with flourescent paint so that they flourece under a black light. The Video below changes to blacklight at 0:45
